A night of conversation to bring hope and solace in an increasingly warming world.
Literature has always been a medium for relief and for the imagining of a different reality. This is also true for navigating the human experience of living in a world in the throes of climate change. The new genre of Climate Science Fiction, also known as ‘cli-fi’ addresses this theme.
During our conversation we will dive deep into this new genre and also cover the new and exciting ‘Climate Fiction Prize’ launched in June 2024 at the renowned Hay Festival in Wales
Kathrine Høeg Johansen will facilitate the conversation as well as introduce examples of books within this genre.
