We are delighted to have author, educator, and activist Lesley-Ann Brown joining us for an evening, during which she will discuss the significance of counter-storytelling. Her renowned works, Decolonial Daughter and her latest book, Blackgirl on Mars, are examples of this powerful narrative approach.

Brown seeks to express her thoughts, opinions, and lived experiences, fearlessly confronting the complexities of identity, tackling issues such as race, ethnicity, gender, and cultural identity.

About the book

Blackgirl on Mars is a radical memoir that chronicles author, educator and activist Lesley-Ann Brown's two years' worth of travel searching for "home".
