On April 29 2017, Donald J Trump will have been the president of The United States for 100 days. 100 days where the he has had the opportunity to make his mark on America - and the world! And he has, although probably not the way he would have hoped to. The world is still trying to figure out what President Trump really wants to do with the greatest power in the world and especially how he wants to do it. At home, Trumps attempts at dismantling Obama care succumbed to civil war within the Republican Party; Russia still looms like a black cloud over the administration; his agenda is running into roadblocks in key areas and Donald Trump the business man is realizing that democracy cannot be run as a corporation.
As promised during his last visit to Books & Company, Danish Radio’s Senior International Correspondent Steffen Gram will once again be joining us for a look back at the first 100 days - the successes and failures so far of the Trump administration.
About Steffen Gram
Steffen Gram is presently DR’s Senior International Correspondent. He has worked for The Danish Broadcasting Corporation since 1976, covering Asia in the 1970s and 1980s, was DR’s correspondent in the United States from 1983 - 1987 and international editor until 1990, when he became the correspondent in the Soviet Union and Russia from 1990 - 1994. He then edited and anchored DR’s weekly International program <em>Horisont</em> from 1995 to 2005 at which time he returned to the United States as DR’s correspondent for the next 8 years.
